Information on your new “Platinum” Visa Card issued by Élan Financial Services
Towne North Bank (TNB) , the credit unions preferred credit card vendor recently sold their portfolio of credit cards to another bank which operates under the name "Élan Financial Services". (Élan is a division of US Bancorp) The sale required a change in account numbers and card platforms. If you had an MLCU branded MasterCard previously issued by TNB, you should have received your new Élan Platinum VISA card - simply labeled "PLATINUM" in the mail. MLCU no longer has any connection with the new issuing bank and as such has no ability to accept payments or issue new cards under this program. Although Élan had mailed an announcement giving you more details on the changes and full disclosures before they mailed the new cards - we know that you may have overlooked it.
