2017 Scholarships and Awards

MLCU Annual Arlene Colombini Scholarship

Our Annual Arelene Colombini Scholarship is named in honor of the MLCU’s original founding member, Arlene Colombini.   All Lake and Mendocino County graduating high school seniors and college students who are currently enrolled full time (12 units minimum) at Lake County Campus of Woodland Community College  or Mendocino College, with a 3.0 GPA or higher, are invited to apply.   Scholarship winners will be announced at each school's senior awards night, followed by a press release in all local papers.

The 2017 scholarship application is due by 5:30pm on Friday, April 28th.

MLCU Student Achievement Awards

The Mendo Lake Credit Union Achievement Awards program honors outstanding high school seniors whose scholastic attainment, sense of responsibility, community service, and evidence of leadership give promise of success and service to society. Certificates are awarded to students who have demonstrated excellence in a specific study area. Two students, who represent the highest level of attainment overall, are awarded an honorarium in the amount of $50.  Students are chosen by their high school staff, and MLCU presents awards at the school's Senior Awards Night.

We also sponsor the following:

Mendocino College Foundation Scholarship Program (including Adopt-A-Fifth-Grader)

Please note that Virtual Branch will not be available starting at 2:30pm on Thursday, 10/31. As part of our merger, we will be integrating the Mendo Lake Credit Union and Fort Bragg Community Federal Credit Union Virtual Branch systems. Staff will work as quickly as possible to complete the task, and we expect the system to be available the afternoon of Saturday, November 2nd.

To ensure that all members receive ample notice of this service interruption, this informational page will be displayed every time you log into Virtual Branch through the end of October. Thank you for your patience as we make this transition!
